My name is Carmen Milagros DeLeon. I was born in Ft. Huachuca,
Arizona and raised in Hereford, Arizona. I started schooling at
Palominas Elementary School then transferred to a private
Christian school, First Baptist Christian Academy, where I
completed middle school. I went to Buena High School all four
years and graduated May 2010. Now a sophomore at Cochise
Community College in Sierra Vista, I am currently majoring in
Psychology with ambitions of earning a Ph.D. and having my own
practice. I keep myself physically active, participating in a
number of sports and activities. Swimming, in particular, is one
of my favorite sports. I swam for three years in high school and
earned the position as captain of the girls swim team my senior
year. I also have two jobs. I am a lifeguard at both the Cove in
Sierra Vista and at Irwin Pool and Barnes Pool on post. Along
with lifeguarding, I am a certified Water Safety Instructor and
teach younger children how to swim. I love to keep myself busy,
with photography, music, (I used to play the drums), or even a
good mystery novel. Just as I try to encourage in my platform
statement, its it just as important to keep yourself mentally
fit as well as physically fit. |
